Four admitted Agricultural Education students attended the 13th annual CFANS Deans’ Welcome Reception Friday, March 14.
At the reception, faculty, alumni and current students were able to talk to admitted students about college life and answer any questions students had about attending the University of Minnesota.
Agricultural Education faculty were at the reception where students had the opportunity to get their questions answered and acquire information about the Agricultural Education program.
The Deans’ Welcome Reception is organized by CFANS Admissions Counselor Sarah Lindholm and CFANS Assistant Director Stacie Vennewitz.
Sarah Lindholm, CFANS Ambassadors Advisor, was excited to see the students;“It was be great to see them explore campus, meet faculty and current students, and learn more about why CFANS is a wonderful fit for them!” Sarah said.
After the reception, Cassie Burton, Agricultural Education Academic Advisor, facilitated a session for the admitted Agricultural Education students to further explain and inform about the Agricultural Education Program. Agricultural Education students Brandon Gasparas, Paige Lemke, Rochelle Day, and Vinz Karl were on hand to share their college experiences with the admitted students.
